Glow Rumblers is free to play. If your child wants gems, you can buy them a gem code here. You pay, you get the code, and your child types it into the game. Children never see a checkout, and they never need to give us any details.
Glow Rumblers is free to play, and everything in the game can be earned by playing. Here's how we keep younger players safe.
If your child wants gems in the app
In the Google Play and App Store apps, a child in Kid Mode can ask to buy a gem pack. Three things happen before anything is charged:
- A grown-up check. The game asks a question for an adult to answer before the store opens.
- The store asks you. On a child's Google account (Family Link) or Apple account (Family Sharing with Ask to Buy), the purchase is sent to you as a request. You approve or decline it on your own device.
- You pay through the store. Google or Apple handles the payment. We never see card details, and we never ask your child for any.
To manage this, turn on purchase approvals in Google Family Link, or Ask to Buy in Apple Family Sharing. Refunds for app purchases go through Google Play or Apple.

What gems are (and aren't)
Looks, not power
Gems unlock skins, emotes, sounds, heroes, maps and the Premium Rumble Pass faster. They never make a hero stronger.
Everything can be earned
Everything gems can get can also be earned by playing. Gems are always optional.
No paid loot boxes
Rumble Drops can't be bought. They're earned by playing, and their odds are shown in the game.
One code, one time
Each code works once and adds its gems to the account that types it in. It doesn't expire.
How Kid Mode protects players under 13
No typed chat
Kids can't type or read chat messages. They can use preset quick-chat lines like "GG" and emotes.
No friend requests
Friend requests are off both ways, and the player name is made up for them, never typed in.
No purchases
You approve purchases
Kids can't buy anything in the game. Gems only arrive through a code from you.Kids can only ask. Every purchase needs a grown-up check in the game and your approval in Google Play or the App Store.
No email or notifications
We don't ask kids for an email address, and we don't send them notifications.
Questions
How does my child use the code?
In the game, tap the 💎 gems at the top of the screen, then Have a gem code?. Type the code (dashes are optional) and tap Redeem. The gems appear right away.
I lost the code.
Look for the email from Glow Rumblers with the subject "Your Glow Rumblers gem code". If you can't find it, email [email protected] with the email address you paid with, and we'll help.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If a code hasn't been used, or there's a problem, email [email protected] within 30 days. When a payment is refunded, the code stops working, and if it was already used, those gems are removed from the account.
Does my child need an account?
No. Codes work on any player account, including Kid Mode. To make sure gems are never lost if the device is reset, save the progress with a username and password (in the game's Settings → Save progress).
What do you do with my email address?
Stripe asks for it at checkout to send your receipt. We use it once to email your gem code, and we don't add it to any list. See the Privacy Policy.
